Pre - Plasticizing Unit for Thermosets

Materials are pre-plasticized at low temperatures (400 C- 800 C) and gases are removed from the material.

Any inconsistancies in granule sizes are prevented

A homogenous material compressed to 95% of its natural density is produced

The advantages of pre-plasticized material are:

• Improved product quality; superior appearance and durability
• Injection time in transfer presses is shortened.
• Curing time cut down by half
• Minimum mould wear
• About 40% reduced labor
• The tablets can be used successfully in transfer presses and compression presses
